wHAT IS YOUR ORDERING PROCESS?
For online orders, it's so easy! Our online store guides you along depending on what type of item you are ordering.
For custom orders, it's a little different. Fill out our wedding or custom cake inquiry form with as much info as possible. We'll let you know if we're available or not, and if we are, we'll ask you to purchase a tasting box.
We'll then chat about your design, your favorite flavors, and the many details surrounding custom cakes.
Once that's settled, I will email your invoice for payment in full, or a deposit (pending the order total).
Just like that, you're on my calendar.
You'll receive a reminder from me to reaffirm details 3-4 weeks prior to your event date, and if you owe a balance, I'll ask that be paid at that time as well.
When your date arrives, I'll see you for pick up curbside, or I'll deliver to your venue as pre-arranged.
And then you wow your guests with a beautiful, delicious cake!
Do you provide tastings?
We currently do not offer in person tasting & consultation appointments.
We do offer pre-purchased tasting boxes once a month in our online store. Tasting boxes consist of 5 sample slices of our most loved flavor combos to enjoy at home. If you should decide Boise Cakery is the perfect fit for you, we will converse via email to plan your order.
do you require a deposit for orders?
Custom orders require 3 weeks lead time.
Custom cake orders begin at $100. Orders of $150 or less require payment in full to confirm order. Orders made within 4 weeks of event date must also be paid in full at time of booking.
Orders over $150 require a non-refundable deposit of $150 to hold your date. Balance will be due 3 weeks prior to event date. Additional payments may be scheduled at time of booking for a small processing fee.
Online orders must be paid in full at time of ordering regardless of order total.
do you have a storefront?
Yes! We are located at 5159 N Glenwood St in Garden City, Idaho.
do you provide gluten free & allergy free products?
We do not. BOISE CAKERY cannot guarantee that our products are 100% free of dietary allergens. While we utilize proper sanitary standards, our kitchen does process nuts, wheat, eggs, soy products, etc. Please use proper discretion as BOISE CAKERY will not be responsible for any allergic reactions.
what forms of payment do you accept?
As a result of moving business to the online platform, we currently only take debit & credit cards.
will you post pics of my custom order on your website?
It's definitely possible! We take pictures of all our products before they leave our kitchen. We reserve the right to use any pictures of your cake, or pictures that you 'share' or 'post' to our social media accounts, for advertising or other purposes as we see fit.
can you place fresh flowers on my cake?
For custom delivery orders, yes. Please have your flowers at the cake table when we arrive and we'll prep and place them.
